We have another exciting season of sledding, tubing and snow play underway at Adventure Mountain Lake Tahoe! Our goal remains the same of providing up affordable fun for the entire family seven days a week, along with new measures in place with the health of employees and guests at the forefront of our new operational approach this winter. We are excited to announce the addition of two more sledding/tubing lanes in addition to the 16 runs we already offer, snow conditions permitting. We are also decreasing the amount of cars allowed in. This will provide for less crowding, greater area for social distancing, and more tubing/sledding options throughout our 40 acres of snowy paradise. Our rental center is located outside this season, and our kitchen will now serve up limited to-go food through outside service windows. Our retail store has been redesigned and will allow a limited amount of guests in at a time. The lodge bathrooms are now accessible through doors on the outside of the lodge, and the remainder of the lodge will be closed to the public due to Covid safety mandates.
Adventure Mountain Resort and Staff Protocol:
A health survey will be conducted with each employee prior to the beginning of each shift. All employees will also receive a temperature check before each shift. All of our employees will be wearing masks/face coverings throughout their shift, and plexiglass barriers will be installed in key areas of guest services. All staff will follow hand washing protocols, and hand sanitizer will be available to all employees. Kitchen facilities, employee breakrooms, rental trailer, retail store and restrooms will be disinfected throughout the day. We sanitize all rental equipment after use.
Adventure Mountain Guest Guidelines:
We appreciate your understanding and spirit of cooperation as we navigate Covid business requirements handed down by county, state, and federal mandates. In order to implement the health safety measures for staff and guests, and in order for us to be allowed to operate, we are requiring guests to adhere to the following guidelines:
First and foremost, do not visit Adventure Mountain if you or any minor in your care are sick, or are suspected Covid 19 positive, or have tested positive for Covid 19 within the past 10 days, or have been in close contact with a person Covid positive within the past 14 days.
Guests 4 years of age and older will be required to wear masks/face coverings throughout the resort including at ticket booth when paying for admission, in lodge bathrooms, in retail store, at walk up service windows including outdoor rental station and cafe service windows, and while in the parking area. If you don’t want to wear a mask, please don’t visit Adventure Mountain.
In addition to face coverings, guests will need to maintain social distancing throughout the resort, and are responsible for maintaining social distancing for any minors in their care. We require both masks and social distancing.
We appreciate your patience when we temporarily close services for cleaning throughout the day.
RETAIL STORE: The retail store access is through the front lodge doors. The rest of the lodge and indoor seating is closed. We can only allow 8 guests at a time into the retail store. If a child needs a pair of mittens, but the rest of the family of six needs nothing from the retail store, please only one adult accompany the child for mittens. This allows other guests to come in and shop for their needs.
