Happy Thanksgiving! OPEN TODAY, November 26th, 9am-4pm! Yes we are open for the 20/21 Season! We have in place our new Covid 19 business model with the health of our staff and guests taking center stage. We ask all guest to wear face masks throughout the resort and to keep social distance. Although we have reimagined our daily operating strategy, our goal remains the same of providing unparalleled wintertime fun in the snow for our guests! Our operating plans will remain dynamic this season, as protocols, mandates, and guidelines continue to evolve within county, state, and federal agencies. Adventure Mountain is open seven days a week on a first come basis. On busy days when we reach capacity, we will reopen every hour on the hour to let in as many cars as allowed. Please visit our Covid 19 page.
Nestled on over 40 pristine acres at the top of Echo Summit, Adventure Mountain Lake Tahoe is South Lake Tahoe’s premier machine groomed sledding, tubing, and snow play resort. Adventure Mountain Lake Tahoe is a family owned and operated winter wonderland with a base elevation of 7,350 feet, making it the highest sledding resort with the most amount of snowfall in the entire Tahoe Basin.
Covid 19 Game Plan: Although change is upon us during these unprecedented times, we are looking forward to another exciting season of sledding, tubing, and snow play at Adventure Mountain! Our goal remains the same in providing up affordable fun for the entire family seven days a week weather permitting, along with new measures in place with the health of employees and guests at the forefront of our new operational approach this winter. We are excited to announce that we are adding two more sledding/tubing lanes this season, in addition to the 16 runs we already offer, snow permitting. Along with creating more sledding runs this season in order to spread out for social distancing, we will also be decreasing the amount of cars we allow in throughout the day. This addition of two new sledding runs for a total of 18 lanes, will provide for less crowding, greater area for social distancing, and more tubing/sledding options throughout our 40 acres of snowy paradise. One of the biggest changes this season will be moving most of our lodge services to outside walk up windows and stations. Our retail store will be open to a limited amount of people at a time, our lodge bathrooms entry will now be from the outside of the lodge, and the remainder of our lodge will be closed due to Covid mandates. We will be serving a limited grab and go menu from outside walk up windows, and our rental center will now be stationed outside on mountain. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we navigate through this new dynamic.
